During the tour, it will be explained how the collaboration between Jujol and Gaud\u00ed took place, what elements can be attributed to Jujol’s sensitivity within the Gaud\u00ed universe and how this experience influenced his later career. At the same time, the unique heritage of Sant Joan Desp\u00ed will be highlighted. <\/p>\n

The itinerary allows us to discover Jujol in his context, understand his relationship with Gaud\u00ed and vindicate his figure as a leading figure in 20th-century Catalan architecture.<\/p>\n

This  <\/span>activity  <\/span>is part of the Barcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture<\/strong><\/a> program, a distinction from UNESCO and the International Union of Architects (UIA) to the city that hosts the UIA World Congress of Architects, and turns it into a global forum for architecture, urban planning and landscaping. From February 12 to December 13, a multidisciplinary program will be developed in collaboration with schools, universities and professional and cultural entities throughout the Catalan territory. <\/span>\n\nBarcelona 2026 World Capital of Architecture has the support of the Barcelona City Council, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda.<\/span><\/pre>\n

This itinerary proposes to discover the figure of Jujol from his own creative identity, analyzing his contribution in projects shared with Gaud\u00ed and, at the same time, delving into the works he developed in Sant Joan Desp\u00ed. Far from being just a collaborator, Jujol was a creator with his own language, capable of experimenting with color, form and materials with a singular freedom. <\/p>\n
