Born in 1972, Guillem Urbà i Gomà has been professionally dedicated to photography for 30 years, mainly as a street photographer. Through his lens, he has captured the transformation of many municipalities in Baix Llobregat and major social and cultural events.
In this exhibition, Guillem Urbà brings us closer to the essence of the clown profession through a collection of images of artists who have participated in the International Clown Festival in the neighboring city of Cornellà de Llobregat.
In total, around thirty large-format photographs that stand out for their expressiveness and plasticity. Images that capture the comicality, joy, tenderness and eccentricity typical of great clowns such as Bello Nock, Tortell Poltrona, De Mortimers, Pepe Viyuela, Leo Bassi, Fraser Hooper, Pepa Plana, Rhum&Cia, Housch-Ma-Housch, Pep Callau, Jango Edwards…
