This itinerary in Sant Joan Despí aims to make known the important heritage of the person who was its municipal architect for more than twenty years, Josep Maria Jujol (Tarragona 1879 – Barcelona 1949). In each house we will discover the renewing spirit of its architecture and how it transforms space and matter, creating its own, almost magical world. The energetic strokes, intense color and creation of visual metaphors make his architecture a surprise, a plastic explosion.

The visit includes access to Can Negre and Torre de la Creu, the facades of the Torre Jujol, the Serra-Xaus house and the Rovira house, the Sant Joan Baptista parish church (except during ceremonial times) and the door of the locksmith Josep Oliver’s workshop.

LANGUAGE OF THE VISIT: CATALAN
