Mythology, works of art by the students of the Municipal School of Art

From May 22 to June 14, 2026.

Opening: Thursday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m.

The students of the Escola Municipal d’Art de Sant Joan Despí present a selection of artistic works inspired by the classical myths of different cultures. This exhibition invites you to delve into the fascinating universe of legends, gods and mythological figures that have captured the human imagination for centuries. Each work is an interpretation of mythology, combining technique and creativity. The students have explored symbols, archetypes and mythological narratives, from Greek gods to Nordic legends, including Egyptian myths and other ancestral traditions.

The works, which include painting, ceramics, photography, fashion and other formats, reflect not only theoretical knowledge about mythology, but also how these myths resonate in the contemporary world. Thus, mythology is transformed into a tool of artistic expression for the students, who have been able to capture the majesty, mystery and complexity of mythological figures through art.

We invite you to enjoy this exhibition and discover the interpretation of myths and their transformation into unique works, giving them new life and meaning.
